In February 2019, Community-Up conducted an in-depth study with a focus group to discuss community development through the lense of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) regulation. The focus group consisted of financial institutions of all sizes and community development practitioners, CDFI’s, Affordable Housing Organizations and consultants. Topics ranged from misconceptions and challenges regarding the CRA regulation to how banks felt community partners could align themselves.
